Vertu | Dunfermline Athletic FC Facebook Prize Draw | Terms and Conditions
1) PROMOTER: This prize draw is provided by Vertu Motors plc, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 05984855, whose registered office is at Vertu House, Fifth Avenue Business Park, Team Valley, Gateshead, NE11 0XA (Vertu). By entering this prize draw participants agree to these terms and conditions (Terms) and any information or guidance published by Vertu form part of these Terms.
2) THE PRIZE: One (1) winner will receive two (2) tickets to the Dunfermline Athletic FC v Celtic match taking place on 23 May 2026 (Prize).
3) The Prize is strictly non‑transferable, non‑refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or for any alternative. The Prize does not include any travel, accommodation, food, drink or other expenses, which remain the sole responsibility of the winner. The Prize is subject to the terms, conditions, rules and reasonable instructions of Dunfermline Athletic FC and/or the relevant venue operator.
4) PROMOTION PERIOD: The prize draw opens on 14 May 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 21 May 2026 (Promotion Period). The prize draw will take place no later than 22 May 2026.
5) HOW TO ENTER: Entry is free and available via liking and commenting on the relevant prize draw post published on the Dunfermline Hyundai Facebook page during the Promotion Period. Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. Entries must be submitted in the entrant’s own name. No purchase is required. Incomplete, late, invalid or non‑compliant entries will not be accepted.
6) ELIGIBILITY: This prize draw is open to supporters of Dunfermline Athletic FC who are resident in the United Kingdom and aged 18 or over at the date of entry. Employees, workers, contractors or colleagues of Vertu, its group companies, agents or anyone professionally connected with this promotion, and members of their immediate families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse or life partners), are not eligible to enter.
Vertu reserves the right to request reasonable information or evidence to confirm that the entrant (and their guest) are genuine supporters of Dunfermline Athletic FC and to disqualify any entrant who cannot provide such confirmation or who does not comply with these Terms.
7) WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. The winner will be contacted using the Facebook account used to enter. If the selected winner does not respond within seventy‑two (72) hours of reasonable contact attempts, Vertu reserves the right to select an alternative winner and the original winner will forfeit any entitlement to the Prize. Subject to applicable law, the winner’s surname and county will be made available upon written request.
Before the Prize is confirmed or issued, the selected winner may be required to confirm that they and their guest are supporters of Dunfermline Athletic FC. If Vertu is not reasonably satisfied that this requirement is met, Vertu reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and select an alternative winner.
8) PRIZE CONDITIONS: The Prize is subject to availability and to the terms, conditions, rules and reasonable instructions of Dunfermline Athletic FC, and/or the Organisers. The winner may be required to provide proof of identity and eligibility before receiving the Prize. Vertu is not the organiser of the match or the venue and accepts no responsibility for their acts or omissions.
The winner’s guest may be under the age of 18. Where a guest is under 18, they must be accompanied, supervised and remain under the responsibility of the winner at all times while attending the match. Attendance is subject to the terms, conditions, rules and safeguarding requirements of Dunfermline Athletic FC and/or the venue operator, and entry may be refused if those requirements are not met.
The Prize is issued on the basis that it is intended for home supporters only, and Vertu accepts no responsibility if entry is refused or tickets are withdrawn by the club or venue operator due to breach of supporter segregation requirements.
9) DATA PROTECTION: Personal data supplied in connection with this prize draw will be processed by Vertu solely for the purposes of administering the promotion and awarding the Prize. Entrants’ personal data will not be used for marketing purposes unless separate consent has been provided. 10) GENERAL: No correspondence will be entered into and Vertu’s decision shall be final. Vertu reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw this prize draw where reasonably necessary at any time, without notice.
Vertu accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received due to technical issues or otherwise. Entrants in this prize draw agree that Vertu will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, costs, damage, disappointment or losses of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse or use of the Prize, or from participation in this prize draw. Nothing in these Terms limits Vertu’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Notwithstanding any other terms and conditions of this competiton (including all terms and conditions of Dunfermline Athletic FC and/or the relevant venue operator), no refunds or any other monetary compensation will be paid in relation to any Prize that a winner has won in this prize draw where any event is rescheduled, postponed, delayed or cancelled (for whatever reason).
11) SPIRIT OF THE COMPETITION: If an entrant attempts to compromise the integrity or legitimate operation of this prize draw by cheating, fraud or other improper conduct, Vertu reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, Vertu will disqualify that entrant’s entry to this prize draw and may ban the entrant from participating in any future giveaways, promotions or competitions run by Vertu or any of its affiliates.
12) FACEBOOK DISCLAIMER: This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering, entrants release Facebook from any liability associated with this promotion.
13) LAW AND JURISDICTION: This prize draw and these Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The winner irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
