Robert Forrester is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vertu Motors plc, one of the UK’s largest automotive retailers. As a founding leader of the Group in 2006, Robert has been instrumental in building Vertu’s extensive portfolio of dealerships and driving its continued growth through strategic acquisitions and digital innovation.

Prior to establishing Vertu, Robert served as Finance Director and Managing Director of Reg Vardy plc, where he played a key role in expanding the business before its acquisition. Robert has a background in accounting and a degree in Geography from Oxford University. He is Vice President of the Automotive Leaders Network (ALN) and also the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). Robert is regularly interviewed to share his thoughts on Sky News, This Morning, Radio 4 Today programme, BBC Breakfast, The Bottom Line on BBC Radio 4 and Question Time Extra Time on Radio 5 Live. In August 2021, he even featured on Undercover Big Boss on ITV.
