Two more models from the Peugeot range have been added to the list of cars that are eligible for discounts under the government’s Electric Car Grant.
The E-308 - including the SW estate - and E-408 have both been put into Band 2 under the terms of the grant, which means an immediate saving of £1,500 off the list price.
It comes on the back of the E-208, E-2008, and E-RIFTER being the first cars in the Peugeot range to be named on the scheme earlier in the month.
The Electric Car Grant will be available across every electric powertrain offered, as well as on all trim levels.
“With six of our all-electric models now confirmed for the Electric Car Grant, Peugeot can give customers more opportunities to benefit from lower upfront costs and greater choice,” Nicola Dobson, Managing Director, Peugeot UK, said.
“From the popular E-208 through to the capacious E-RIFTER, and now E-308 and E-408, we have one of the broadest electric line-ups on the market.
“This Government support is welcome to help make the switch to electric more accessible and give consumers greater confidence to choose the electric Peugeot that best fits their lifestyle, while driving forward the UK’s transition to cleaner mobility.”
