How much does an MOT cost?
An MOT test costs £54.85 at Vertu Motors.
All MOT tests are carried out by our manufacturer accredited technicians. You will also receive a Free Visual Health Check video, as well as a wash and vacuum as part of the price.

What are the benefits of a free tyre check?

What is a warranty and what does it mean for your car?
A manufacturer's warranty comes as standard with all new vehicles and used vehicles.
What is covered by the warranty is dependent on individual manufacturers, so always make sure to check your vehicle handbook or with the manufacturer for any exclusions.
It covers the cost of any confirmed warranty defects but excludes wear and tear items and replacements, including servicing maintenance.
You can also choose to purchase a Motor Assured Warranty which is an extended dealer guarantee.
If you are buying an approved used vehicle through a manufacturer programme, you will receive an approved used warranty.
To get the maximum protection from you warranty, you need to service your vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer's schedule. You can risk invalidating the warranty if you don't.
Does a manufacturer's warranty cover servicing?
Your warranty doesn't cover the cost of regular servicing, only the cost of any confirmed warranty defects.

What is a Vehicle Health Check (VHC)?
Whenever you bring your car into one of our workshops for an MOT, service, or repair, we will complete a free Vehicle Health Check on your vehicle. It's a comprehensive inspection from bumper-to-bumper examining:
- Vehicle interior and controls
- Key fluid levels
You will receive a video of your check (VHC) showing the overall condition of your car, highlighting any issues, along with a competitive, no obligation estimate on any work required. We'll also provide you with a written summary.

With a Vertu Motors Priority Service Plan, you can spread the cost of servicing with manageable monthly payments and could save you up to 25% in comparison to one-off servicing costs!
