In GT trim, it leans heavily into Peugeot's recent design renaissance, presenting a striking exterior that fuses Gallic flair with SUV muscularity. The sharp LED lighting signatures, gloss black accents, and 19-inch alloy wheels give the 5008 an upmarket presence that rivals from mainstream brands often lack. It doesn't shout for attention, but it certainly earns a second glance. Under the bonnet, the 1.5-litre BlueHDi diesel might appear modest on paper, but it delivers a pleasantly surprising punch. With 130 bhp and 300 Nm of torque on tap, it pairs well with the smooth-shifting 8-speed EAT8 automatic gearbox, making for relaxed, refined progress both in town and on the motorway.
