Bristol Street Motors Ford Bolton is proud to have helped the Bolton Hospice's "Green Christmas Appeal," a community-driven initiative aimed at raising vital funds and promoting sustainability during the festive season.

Utilising an eco-friendly Ford E-Transit, two colleagues from the dealership, Andrew Waring and Alex Weston played a pivotal role in the collection of real Christmas trees from residents across Bolton.

For a donation to Bolton Hospice, local people had the opportunity to have their Christmas trees collected. The trees were then processed into wood chippings, facilitating an environmentally conscious method of recycling, and preventing the trees from ending up in landfills.

"This initiative is not just about recycling Christmas trees; it's a testament to our commitment to the community and the environment," said Chris Armstrong, General Manager of Bristol Street Motors Ford Bolton.

"Using our Ford E-Transit for this cause aligns perfectly with our ethos of green energy and community support. We are thrilled to assist Bolton Hospice in their admirable efforts and hope to inspire others to think green."

The "Green Christmas Appeal" has not only helped in waste reduction but has also fostered a sense of community and shared responsibility towards the environment.
