Citroen Ds5 gets UK release

British motorists can now get their hands on the all-new Citroen Ds5 after the French manufacturer released the award-winning motor in the UK.

Today (April 2nd) marks the first day of UK sales of the Ds5, with prices ranging from £22,000 to £32,000.

According to the carmaker, the new model combines "bold, modern styling with a luxurious aviation-inspired interior".

Those lucky enough to get behind the wheel will benefit from a cockpit roof and pilot-style cabin, meaning the car will bring a touch of Top Gun styling to UK roads.

"Compact and agile, spacious and versatile, Ds5 has five doors, five full-size seats and up to 465-litres of boot space," the firm explained.

"Creative Technologie includes keyless access and start, smart beams, a colour head-up display and a new Lane Departure Warning System."

As a big sister to the already popular Ds3 and Ds4 models, the new Ds5 is sure to be a hit with drivers all across the country.
