Citroen has released a new dynamic model at the Shanghai Motor Show.

The Citroen DS5 follows on from the popular DS3 range, boasting HYbrid4 diesel hybrid technology, enhanced performance and class-leading environmental features.

Emitting just 99g/km of CO2, the executive segment vehicle is "bold and assertive", sporting a modern and progressive approach to design, the manufacturer stated.

The car includes chrome-finished sabre inserts, a new LED light signature and two tail pipes built into its rear bumper.

"Each detail has been carefully considered, with premium materials such as fine-grain club leather and exclusive designs like the watchstrap seat upholstery," the company commented.

The Citroen DS5 makes its first public appearance at the industry exhibition today (April 18th), and will offer 16-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels when it goes on sale across the world.

In related news, the Citroen DS4 has already been voted Most Beautiful Car of the Year 2011 and the DS3 has proved popular among European drivers since its release last year.ADNFCR-3205-ID-800503396-ADNFCR
