Dacia has announced a raft of upgrades that will be introduced to three key models in order to provide motorists with even greater levels of value.
The Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Jogger will all benefit from revisions to the exterior design with the introduction of a new LED light design to both front and rear, with certain grades also receiving new wheel designs.
New, more durable fabrics are a feature of the interior whilst the three models will also be equipped with Dacia’s YouClip system that allow drivers and passengers to secure accessories within the car.
There will also be a raft of new driver aids added as standard that include automatic emergency braking.
Perhaps the biggest change for the models comes under the bonnet with the introduction of the hybrid 155 engine currently found in the Bigster.
The new engine is now offered with the Jogger and will also become an option on the Sandero Stepway from the final quarter of 2026 in a move that gives the model an electrified powertrain for the first time.
That will be particularly popular amongst city drivers where the car will be capable of running solely on electric power for a large amount of time.
Although the regular Sandero will not get the hybrid engine, it will receive a new 1.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine that has an extra 10bhp over the existing powerplant.
