Honda Secures EV Design Award For New 0 Series
Honda has secured a top award for the new 0 Series Saloon, which was revealed earlier this year to give an idea of how the manufacturer plans to ‘redefine mobility through thoughtful design and advanced technology’
The 0 Series Saloon was revealed alongside the 0 Series SUV at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and feature a unique exterior design geared towards making it as a aerodynamically efficient as possible.
Despite the sporty nature of the design with its low, sweeping roofline – the car features plenty of interior space thanks to its wide stance and comes with Honda’s ASIMO OS – an innovate operating system that provides an ultra-personalised user experience.
The 0 Series Saloon also provides advanced automotive systems that would allow for hands-free driving under the right conditions.
The production version of the car is set for release in Europe in 2027 as the flagship of the new 0 Series, which will comprise seven vehicles globally by 2030.
“We’re incredibly proud to receive the ‘Best EV Design’ award from Top Gear,” Rebecca Adamson, head of automobile at Honda Motor Europe UK said.
“This recognition is a testament to the passion, creativity, and relentless innovation of Honda, pushing boundaries to redefine what an electric vehicle can be.”
