The all-new Hyundai Genesis is being proudly displayed at the Geneva Motor Show, with visitors attending the opening of the event today (March 6th).

It is the latest evolution of the manufacturer's executive sedan model, which Hyundai says will deliver a refined performance and true driving comfort.

That is partly thanks to the smooth yet powerful 3.8-litre V6 GDI engine capable of delivering 333hp and plenty of torque.

On the inside, there is plenty of space for passengers and driver, with Hyundai noting that the Genesis offers interior room and comfort never before seen in a European model.

Allan Rushforth, senior vice president and chief operating officer at Hyundai Motor Europe, said: "There are a number of world and Hyundai-first technologies applied to this car, making it a true showcase of what we can achieve, and continuing Hyundai s legacy of delivering value beyond expectations across a broadening number and variety of high-quality cars.

The new technologies include the world's first CO2 cabin sensor. This feature monitors the cabin environment and protects the driver from the risks associated with drowsiness behind the wheel.
