Iconic Ibiza is 'hot property' in used car market

The SEAT Ibiza is taking the used car market by storm, according to the Spanish manufacturer.

SEAT recently claimed that its iconic Ibiza Cupra Bocanegra is as hot a property among second-hand buyers as it is with new car buyers.

David Ardern, SEAT UK used car manager, said: "Demand for the Ibiza Cupra Bocanegra is exceptionally strong from dealers desperate to get their hands on the car.

"It's no surprise, perhaps, that this very special Ibiza's combination of hot hatch performance and stand-out styling has buyers queuing up."

The Bocanegra was launched in the UK in 2009 and its 180 PS power and state-of-the-art DSG automatic/sequential manual gearbox had "performance-hungry" buyers flocking to showrooms to get behind the wheel.

That appetite has not waned in the last three years and as SEAT has pointed out, drivers are just as keen to acquire used models as they were to drive a new version of the forecourt.
