Pontus Jansson has been voted the December PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans Player of the Month by football fans across the country.
In a vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, the Leeds defender won with 32% of the vote, beating Whites colleague Pablo Hernandez, who finished in second place with 28%.
In the second of four divisional votes carried out over seven days via Snack s digital and social networks and supported by top flight football clubs and press, it was clear that the Swede s strong performances last month - in which he scored a decisive goal at Aston Villa - has resonated not just with Leeds fans, but with supporters up and down the country.
The full list of contenders from the final shortlist polled were as follows:
