During the latest round of NCAP safety tests, the Mazda3 emerged as one of the top performing cars by claiming a five-star rating.

In achieving the maximum rating, the car now becomes one of the leading models in its class for safety - something that is sure to pique the attention of any cautious customer.

The model is the all-time bestseller for Mazda and achieved the rating thanks in no small part to the new cutting-edge range of sensor-based active safety technology.

Furthermore, the car offers the highest quality of responsiveness and braking capabilities, while handling and steering are also top-notch.

According to Mazda, despite having made the model easier to drive, the fun and the vehicle's character still remain.

The Mazda3, like its Mazda6 and Mazda CX-5 siblings, comes with unique impact-absorbing and lightweight SKYACTIV-Body, alongside a SKYACTIV-Chassis.

It is the safest compact car to have taken part in the Euro NCAP tests so far in 2013, the manufacturer proudly stated.
