The MINI Countryman is now available with discounts of £3,750 under the Electric Car Grant after the EV variant was given Band 1 status.
The Countryman has previously been offered with a discount of £1,500 under Band 2 of the scheme, with MINI introducing its own Electric Grant against other models in the range.
That means savings for customers of £1,500 off both the MINI Cooper and the MINI Aceman.
However, the latest update from the government has revealed that the Countryman will now become one of the select number of cars that will be eligible for the full discount.
The move took effect on orders made from 3 December.
