Hyundai has issued complete details on its upcoming Ioniq.
The Ioniq initially debuted at the Geneva Motor Show, and we can now confirm the brand new eco-hatchback will start from £19,995 as a hybrid. Fully electric and plug-in versions will be released later on, along with their pricing details. The Ioniq Hybrid SE is the base model, and features 15-inch alloy wheels, autonomous emergency braking, and lane-keep assist. Additionally, the car has cruise control, plus a Bluetooth integrated DAB sytem.
The Premium option starts at £21,795, and for the extra money, drivers will gain keyless start, heated seats and steering wheel, sat-nav with Apple CarPlay, a 7 inch display, and a lot more. For the slight increase in cost, it looks as though drivers will definitely get their money s worth in the higher end options for the Ioniq. All models of the Ioniq will come with the same engine, a 1.6-litre petrol mated to a six-speed duel clutch automatic, which kicks out 139bhp and shoots the Ioniq from 0-62mph in 10.8 seconds.
The Hyundai Ioniq will go on sale from October.
