Vauxhall has revealed its fastest electric model to date after confirming that the Mokka GSE will start arriving with customers by the end of the year.
The high-performance version of the popular SUV will feature design inspired by the Mokka GSE Rally that was revealed earlier this year, and will provide drivers with peak performance of 280bhp – taking the Mokka GSE from 0-62mph in under six seconds and on to a top speed of 124mph.
Range comes in at 209 miles WLTP thanks to a 54kWh battery that can be charged from 0-80% in 27 minutes using a 100kW DC rapid charger.
Perhaps most impressively, the Mokka GSE will be priced at £36,995 OTR, which means it will be eligible for a £1,500 saving under the Electric Car Grant.

As well as the aggressive styling of the exterior, the interior includes a number of exclusive touches such as special heated Alcantara sport bucket seats whilst Vauxhall’s PureSense package comes as standard to provide a raft of driver safety features.
A 10-inch Multimedia Navi Pure Panel system includes satellite navigation with electric vehicle route mapping and offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Keyless entry and start are also included as standard.
