Mazda is adding a fresh dose of sophistication to its colour palette with the introduction of Navy Blue, a timeless new hue that makes its debut on the all-new Mazda CX-5. Launching in the UK this spring, Navy Blue will be available from day one on Mazda’s best-selling SUV, giving customers a striking new way to express style and confidence on the road.

Developed through Mazda’s global design co-creation process, Navy Blue is designed to enhance the CX-5’s evolved Kodo – Soul of Motion design. Subtle yet confident, the colour highlights the SUV’s sculpted surfaces and proportions, appearing vivid and expressive in bright sunlight whilst remaining deep and elegant under cloudy skies or at night.

Whilst Mazda is often associated with its iconic reds, blue has long been part of the brand’s heritage, with more than 150 blue shades appearing across its history. Navy Blue builds on this legacy, aiming to set a new benchmark by balancing brightness, depth and contrast for a truly high-resolution finish.

Navy Blue will first be seen on the all-new Mazda CX-5, which arrives with a choice of eight exterior colours, and the shade won’t stop there. Mazda has confirmed that Navy Blue will feature on future model releases later this year, including the elegant Mazda 6, bringing this striking new colour to even more of the range.
