Renault has announced this summer will see the release of its latest version of the Trafic, with the commercial market ready to benefit from a more economical model.

In addition to undergoing a facelift and being redesigned on the inside, it is now powered by a 1.6 dCi powerplant, with a twin-turbocharged version available. The latter offers fuel consumption of less than six litres every 100km.

The manufacturer says these engines develop brisk pick-up and excellent low-end torque, ensuring responsive acceleration is possible, even with a heavy load in the back.

According to Renault, the model is a "genuine user-friendly van" that is modern, comfortable and offers everything a customer could ask for.

In terms of aesthetics, the van features a more forceful and dynamic image, while the wide and slender highlights give it a certain sense of expression.

Furthermore, the addition of much sharper lines ensures the silhouette is much more dynamic, without impacting on the sturdiness.
