SEAT is celebrating a very special birthday this week, as the iconic Ibiza is set to reach its 30th year.

The official day to party is April 27th and SEAT has been looking back at the impressive machines it has delivered in its history.

Lasting from 1984-1993, the first generation of the Ibiza was built with help from Giorgetto Giugiaro of Italdesign, with the intention to create a young-spirited, sporty and quality designed machine.

It was the first car ever fully designed by the manufacturer, so it's no surprise it is so highly coveted.

Since then, SEAT has delivered the second generation (1993-2002), the third (2002-2008) and the fourth (2008-). However, they aren't stopping there.

June this year will see the release of the all new Ibiza and, like it's predecessors, it's sure to be a huge hit!

With such impressive design and the existing longevity and popularity of the Ibiza, expect the hatchback to be around for years to come.
