Team VERTU heads to Brands Hatch this weekend for what promises to be a dramatic conclusion to the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship with no fewer than three titles on the line.

Tom Ingram goes into the season finale holding a 33 point lead in the Drivers’ Championship – with a maximum of 67 available – as he looks to secure the title for a second time, whilst the EXCELR8-run team is chasing further glory in both the Manufacturers’/Constructors’ Championship and also in the Teams’ Championship.

In the former, rivals Alliance Racing lead by a single point, whilst the deficit to the same team in the latter is just three – meaning it is all to play for around the iconic Brands Hatch GP circuit this weekend.

Ingram has already scored more points this season than ever before in a campaign where he has picked up more wins (6) and more podiums (17) than any other driver.

A model of consistency throughout the year, Ingram has failed to finish in the top eight only twice at the wheel of his Hyundai i30 Fastback N; a performance that has been key in establishing his advantage at the top.

Ingram has a strong record around the Brands Hatch GP circuit with at least one podium finish in each of the last five seasons and will look to now maintain that record to secure the top prize.

Going into the season finale, Tom Chilton sits sixth in the championship standings and on course for his best end-of-year result in Team VERTU colours.

A two-time winner already this season, Chilton has been a consistent front-runner and will look to challenge at the sharp end to not only strengthen this own position in the standings, but also to help the team in its battle for the championship.

It's a similar story for Adam Morgan, who goes into the finale just a point behind Chilton in the standings.

Morgan has bagged multiple podium finishes this season in his first year with the team and has a strong record around the Brands GP circuit – including his maiden BTCC victory back in 2014.

Senna Proctor meanwhile is one of five drivers who go into the season finale covered by just six points in the fight to end the year inside the top ten.

Proctor could yet finish as high as eighth in the standings despite missing the opening three race weekends - a loss of nine race results - and will hope for a strong end to boost both his own and the team’s championship result.

Qualifying for the final meeting of the season will air on YouTube on Saturday at 15:15 before the three races on Sunday at 11:25, 14:05 and 17:30 are all shown on ITV4 and ITVX.

Tom Chilton, #3 Team VERTU Hyundai i30 Fastback N, said:

“Brands Hatch is my home circuit, so I always look forward to racing there, but the full GP layout is even more special. It’s a real challenge where you can’t afford to make a mistake, and it’s so satisfying as a driver when you nail a quick lap.

“This is a huge weekend for the team with titles on the line, so my focus is on doing everything I can to help secure the three titles we are in contention for.

“If I’m able to do that, then my own championship position will look after itself.”

Senna Proctor, #18 Team VERTU Hyundai i30 Fastback N, said:

“The last few rounds have been more challenging for me than those earlier in the year but I head to Brands Hatch confident of a strong end to the season.

“The Hyundai has performed well around the GP layout in the past and I fully expect us to be in contention at the sharp end of the field.

“My goal is to get into the top ten in the end of season standings, and also to help the team in any way I can to wrap up the titles.”

Adam Morgan, #33 Team VERTU Hyundai i30 Fastback N, said:

“Brands Hatch GP has fond memories for me dating back to my first win, and I’d love to be able to get back into the top step of the podium again this weekend.

“We’ve been close more than once this season and it would be great way to finish off the year if I could pick up another win.

“Of course, I’m also focused on helping the team on what promises to be a huge weekend in the championship and hopefully we’ll all have plenty to celebrate by Sunday evening.”

Tom Ingram, #80 Team VERTU Hyundai i30 Fastback N, said:

“It’s clear what my goal is as we head into the final round of the season, but my approach isn’t going to change compared to the nine race meetings we’ve done so far as that is what has carried us to the position we now find ourselves in.

“We know how strong the Hyundai is from all the hard work that has gone in throughout the year, and it means I go into the final round in a really good place.

“I’m fully confident that the team will give me a good car from the moment we roll it out of the truck and my focus remains on maximising every session to score as many points as we can.”

Justina Williams, Team VERTU Team Owner, said:

“This is arguably the biggest weekend we’ve had since we joined the BTCC with three titles on the line, and we head to Brands Hatch in confident mood.

“With the package that we have, and four drivers who are more than capable of fighting right at the front of the field, we are focused firmly on doing everything we can to come away from the weekend on top.”
