Vertu Expand Nottinghamshire CCC Partnership To Add Sponsorship Of Super 9s

Vertu has expanded its Official Partnership with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club by committing to a deal to support the Club’s disability cricket offering.

The Super 9s team, which will now be sponsored by Vertu, is a leading disability cricket side playing within the ECB's regional competition structure.

The team offers players with a range of disabilities the opportunity to enjoy competitive cricket in a supportive and structured environment.

Through Vertu’s sponsorship, the team will receive vital funding to help strengthen disability cricket in the region.

Vertu branding will feature on the team’s playing kits and across promotional materials, with additional community engagement activities planned throughout the season.

Open trials to join the squad are currently ongoing at Gedling Colliery Cricket Club, with more information below.

Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Nottinghamshire Super 9s.

“Sport has the power to change lives, and this team exemplifies the spirit of resilience, teamwork, and inclusion.

“At Vertu, we have a deep commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and community development through sport. We are committed to giving back to the communities we serve, and this partnership is a perfect reflection of our values.”

Mandy Wright, Head of Trent Bridge Community Trust, added: “Vertu’s sponsorship is a major boost for disability cricket in Nottinghamshire.

“It not only provides the resources we need to grow, but also sends a powerful message about commitment to inclusion and opportunity.

“We can’t wait to welcome new players to the trials and see what the future holds.”
