Volvo Brings In EV Discount On EX30
Volvo has become the latest manufacturer to introduce an EV discount on the back of the announcement of the government’s Electric Car Grant.
The discount from Volvo will be eligible against the award-winning EX30 model, with a £1,500 saving being introduced against the smallest SUV offered within the range.
Volvo said the discount was part of ‘a commitment to delivering electric driving that is both practical and progressive’ and has come in as the manufacturer waits to discover the ‘outcome of our eligibility application for the Government Electric Car Grant’.
The decision to introduce a discount follows on from MG and Hyundai bringing in grants of their own ahead of official confirmation of which cars will be eligible for the official EV grant.
The full list of cars is set to be made available by 11 August.
