I would like to relay my very positive experience of dealing with the Parts Advisor at Gordon Lamb Chesterfield they provided a service that exceeded expectations from my first contact. I was trying to buy and have fitted a tow bar and bike carrier to my new Evoque I had already spoken to the dealership where I bought my car and another dealer in Derby neither could help due to the shortage of parts from Land Rover but were able to quoted a price but no date for fitting. As soon as I spoke to the Parts Advisor they gave me confidence that they would sort this far me despite the shortage of parts. They came back to me quickly with a likely date for the availability of parts and a very competitive all in price (about �850 cheaper than elsewhere). They kept on top of the arrival of the parts which arrived when they predicted and kept me in touch with progress before booking an appointment. The experience at the dealership during fitting was good and I was kept in touch with progress and the Parts Advisor even passed on a further small discount due to parts being included with the carrier. There was also an issue with one part requiring spraying again which they organised for me with no trouble and no extra cost. I have been back today to have this fitted and again the Parts Advisor was on hand to make sure this went smoothly which it did. I see a lot of criticism of Land Rover as a brand as well as their dealerships this is not my experience. I am driving my first Range Rover (Evoque) and without doubt it is the best car I have driven. Whilst I did not buy it from Gordon Lamb because of the excellent experience they will be the first I call on for my next new car. I hope this feedback is passed on to the Advisor and that their value to the company is appreciated.

My experience at Gordon Lamb Land Rover was a pleasure. I have never purchased a vehicle from them before as I have usually stayed with my local dealership in Lincolnshire. We tried two other Land Rover dealerships, one of which just couldn't meet our financial needs, the other was a complete joke from initial enquiry. We never got anywhere near to approaching a purchase. Absolutely shambolic and the sales department could only be described as inept. Not only did Gordon Lamb have the vehicle which had everything we were looking for, they were a pleasure to deal with from initial enquiry to completing the sale. David Wood was great and he and his sales manager gave us a fantastic deal. The majority of the purchase was completed over the phone and via email but David was prepared to go just that little bit further to meet our financial needs. Not only was he professional and competent but he was also very friendly and made me feel a valued customer. (A really nice guy). When I came to collect the vehicle, he explained everything to me, likewise with the finance manager. David has since contacted me with a follow up courtesy call. A big thank you to all and I hope that I can return in the future.
