The CUPRA Born has become one of the latest additions to the government’s Electric Car Grant after the model was granted Band 2 eligibility.
The Born was expected to secure a place on the list with the savings being in place across the full range – incorporating V1, V2 and V3 specifications fitted with both 59kWh and 79 kWh batteries.
The reduction in price on the Born thanks to the grant comes on top of discounts already put in place on home charging systems by the manufacturer.
CUPRA is also offering discounts on the larger Tavascan – which isn’t eligible for the Electric Car Grant – until the end of September.
“At CUPRA, we’ve never followed the crowd and when it comes to electrification, we’re charging ahead,” Marcus Gossen, Managing Director of SEAT and CUPRA UK, said.
“The enhanced Government Electric Car Grant is a powerful step forward, and when combined with CUPRA’s disruptive design, further offers, and flexible finance, it means more drivers can experience the thrill of electric mobility without compromise.”
