Peugeot is continuing to record a rise in sales, thanks to the popularity of some recent models.

According to the company, its car and LCV sales rose 7.7 per cent and 24.2 per cent respectively last month, compared with November 2009.

The manufacturer attributes the success to the ever-growing popularity of its 3008, 5008 and RCZ models, which topped Peugeot sales in November.

In particular, the Peugeot 3008 accounted for almost 17 per cent of the company's total sales, making it Peugeot's second most popular car after the 207.

The group's Just Add Fuel new buyers' programme also provided a boost to sales figures.

"Peugeot's innovative Just Add Fuel programme enables customers to purchase a new car with the peace of mind of a single monthly payment, covering all their motoring costs," the firm commented.

The Peugeot RCZ was recently named Coupe of the Year 2010 by Top Gear magazine.ADNFCR-3205-ID-800276262-ADNFCR
