The Ford Puma continues to be the top-selling model in the UK after registration data for September was revealed, although it didn’t come out on top of the monthly figures.
More than 40,000 new Pumas have now hit the roads in 2025, helped in part by the EV version being handed Band One status under the Electric Car Grant for immediate savings of £3,750 off the list price.
The Puma wasn’t the top seller in September however, with that honour going the way of another SUV in the shape of the Kia Sportage.
Reflecting the current market trend towards SUVs, the Nissan Qashqai slotted into third spot ahead of the first full EV – the Jaecoo 7.
The Vauxhall Corsa and the Volkswagen Golf were the only non-SUV models to make it into the top ten.
