Do You Need to Replace Your Tyre?
1. Check Your Tread Depth
The legal minimum tread depth is 1.6mm across the central ¾ of the tyre. For safety, we recommend replacing your tyres before they reach this limit. Avoid fines of up to £2,500 and 3 penalty points per tyre by checking regularly.
2. Maintain Correct Tyre Pressure
Correct tyre pressure improves grip, fuel efficiency, and tyre lifespan. Under or over-inflation can cause uneven wear and damage. If your dashboard alerts you to a pressure issue, visit your local Vertu Nissan dealer for advice.
3. Rotate Your Tyres
Rotating your tyres helps ensure even wear and longer life. Where possible, fit new tyres to the rear and move older ones to the front for optimal performance.
