SKODA has released a teaser image of the fourth generation FABIA, ahead of its world premiere in spring 2021.
Since its release in 1999, the FABIA has been one of SKODA s most popular models for many UK drivers and the new model is set to be even more of a hit.
The new SKODA FABIA will be based on Volkswagen Group s Modular Transverse Toolkit MQB-A0 platform, which not only increases the interior space for passengers and drivers, but it also means state-of-the-art assistance systems and connectivity features will be included.
Although the teaser images don t give too much away, we do know that the fourth-generation FABIA will be much larger, with a 50-litre increase in boot capacity. The new design also means that the FABIA will be able to have the latest safety technology and driver-assist features installed, along with a stronger and more rigid exterior to improve overall safety.
It will be available with a choice of petrol engines, all of which optimises the vehicle s efficiency and performance. It s equipped with four-wheel drive and drivers will have the choice between a manual gearbox or an automatic 7-speed DSG.
The new SKODA FABIA is capable of long and short distances and is the perfect car for young families, new drivers or anyone looking for a practical hatchback to carry out everyday journeys.
