What Offers Are Available Under The Electric Car Grant?

The announcement from the UK government of an Electric Car Grant has resulted in a raft of manufacturers introducing new discounts on EVs, even before the full list of models eligible for the actual grant have been confirmed.

The announcement that was made in mid-July revealed potential savings of up to £3,750 against the price of a new EV subject to a manufacturer meeting a range of different criteria laid down by the government, with a second level saving of £1,500 also put in place.

Whilst awaiting the full list of eligible models, various manufacturers moved to bring in their own discounts in response to the government's plans, with Citroen becoming the first brand to be officially named as part of the Electric Car Grant on 5 August.
