Who is Eligible?
You may be eligible for Toyota Excess Protection if:
- You (or your spouse, civil partner, or common-law partner) are the registered keeper and owner of the vehicle
- You have purchased a new or used Toyota from an authorised Toyota Centre
- OR you have completed a scheduled full or interim service at an authorised Toyota Centre, in accordance with your recommended service schedule**
- The purchase or service was completed no more than 60 days before the Excess Protection policy begins
*Proof of purchase or servicing may be required when making a claim.
How to Make a Claim
If you’ve been involved in an accident and need to make a claim:
1. Call 03331 038737 before contacting your insurer. This ensures your claim is handled by Toyota Accident Care from the outset.
2. The team will:
- a. Recover your vehicle if it is not driveable
- b. Arrange repair through a Toyota Authorised Bodyshop
- c. Provide a courtesy car, subject to availability
- d. Oversee the claim and ensure repairs use Toyota genuine parts^
By calling Toyota Accident Care first, you maintain the right to choose where your vehicle is repaired, something insurers may not always make clear.
