This car giveaway is provided by Vertu Motors plc, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 05984855) whose registered office is at Vertu House, Fifth Avenue Business Park, Team Valley, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, NE11 0XA, trading as Vertu (Vertu). Entrants agree to these terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) and any information or guidance published by Vertu forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

1) PRIZE: One (1) winner will win a brand-new BYD SEAL U (Car) in a colour selected by Vertu (acting reasonably). There is no alternative prize, and the Car cannot be exchanged for cash or any other prize. The Car will be registered by Vertu to the winner and cannot be registered to anyone else. 7-day drive away insurance will be included, together with the with the first registration fee and the first year's road tax, but thereafter the winner will be required to tax and arrange their own insurance for the Car.

2 ELIGIBILITY: This car giveaway is free to enter (and no purchase is necessary) and is open to any person resident in the UK who is over the age of 18. Employees of: (i) Vertu or its affiliates; and (ii) Vertu's advertising or promotion agencies, are not eligible to enter this car giveaway nor are members of these employees families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).

3) TIMING: This car giveaway runs from 9:00 on 1st July 2026 until 23:59 on 30th September 2026 (Giveaway Deadline).

4) HOW TO ENTER: To enter you must visit www.vertumotors.com/car-giveaway/ and enter your details before the Giveaway Deadline for your chance to win the Car. The following details are required for entry: name, email address, mobile telephone number and home address including postcode.

Entrants may only enter once and must only enter on their own behalf. Entries will be ineligible if they are incomplete, are found to be part of an attempt to enter multiple times, violate the rights of any other person or entity or are received after the Giveaway Deadline. Vertu is not responsible for any failure or inability to enter. Vertu reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who it considers (at its absolute discretion) has violated these Terms and Conditions.

5) SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: The winner of the Car will be selected at random from all valid entries received prior to the Giveaway Deadline using a verifiable random selection process conducted by Vertu at its absolute discretion within 10 (ten) working days following the Giveaway Deadline. The winner will be notified using the contact details provided on entry via the entry system used for the car giveaway or by such other reasonable method as Vertu may determine (including email and/or telephone). If the winner does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours or fails to claim the prize, Vertu reserves the right to select an alternative winner and the original winner will forfeit any entitlement to the Car.

A mutually convenient Vertu dealership or alternative location will be agreed with the winner for the Car to be handed over, but the Car must be handed over to the winner within 21 days of notification (or such longer period as Vertu may reasonably allow), failing which Vertu reserves the right to select an alternative winner.  The winner will need to complete various Vertu documents relating to the Car before handover and may be required to provide proof of identity, age and eligibility before receiving the Car. Failure to provide such information may result in disqualification.

6) USE OF YOUR ENTRY: The winner of the Car consents to partaking in Vertu PR/social media activity in relation to this car giveaway (including but not limited to his/her full name being made publicly available and posted on social media as the winner).

7) DATA PROTECTION: Personal data supplied in connection with this car giveaway will be processed by Vertu for the purposes of administering the promotion, selecting and announcing the winner and awarding the prize, unless you have provided separate consent to receive marketing communications.  The surname and county of the winner will be made available on request to demonstrate that a valid award has taken place. 8) GENERAL: No correspondence will be entered into regarding this car giveaway or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Vertu's decision shall be final. Vertu reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this car giveaway where reasonably necessary at any time, without notice. Vertu accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, not received or successfully completed due to technical issues or otherwise. Entrants in this car giveaway agree that Vertu will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, costs, damage, disappointment or losses of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this car giveaway. Nothing in this clause shall limit Vertu's liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or liability arising out of Vertu's fraud.

Vertu shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation or inability to deliver the prize due to events outside its reasonable control, and no compensation shall be payable in such circumstances.

9) SPIRIT OF THE CAR GIVEAWAY: If an entrant attempts to compromise the integrity or the legitimate operation of this car giveaway by cheating or committing fraud in any way, Vertu may seek damages from that entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, Vertu will disqualify that entrant's entry to this car giveaway and may ban the entrant from participating in any future giveaways, promotions or competitions run by Vertu or any of its affiliates. Use of automated systems, bots or third-party services to enter is prohibited and all such entries will be disqualified.

10) THIRD PARTY DISCLAIMER: This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform (including, without limitation, Facebook, Instagram or any other platform used to promote this giveaway) or by the manufacturer or supplier of the prize (including BYD). By entering, entrants acknowledge that they are providing their information to Vertu and not to any such third party, and agree that such third parties shall have no liability in relation to this promotion.

11) LAW AND JURISDICTION: This car giveaway and these Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Entrants irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this car giveaway and these Terms and Conditions or its subject matter or formation (including noncontractual disputes or claims)
