As a fully hybrid vehicle, the e:HEV can run purely on electric power and deliver up to 315 Nm of torque - a feat impossible to achieve for mild hybrids. It's also super-efficient with a range of up to 521 miles, while keeping emissions low at around 89g/km and delivering on performance and comfort. Honda's intelligent e:HEV system allows the battery to recharge during engine driving, and through regenerative braking, energy which would normally be lost when you apply the brakes will be saved thanks to the drive motor and top up your battery as you go.
Cultivating convenience
The e:HEV also delivers on convenience and practicality - factors which are appreciated by modern motorists. With a full hybrid powertrain, there is no need to plug in charge as there is no mains electricity supply required. Regenerative braking also helps to capture some of the energy lost when breaking, converting this into electricity to top up your vehicle's battery simultaneously.
