WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR EXPERIENCE DAY
During your visit to the Land Rover Experience centre, you'll see for yourself what our vehicles are really capable of. With expert guidance of our Land Rover instructors, you'll tackle a whole host of surfaces and obstacles, using legendary Land Rover off-road capability and technology along the way.
Wade Sensors
Our Wade Sensing technology uses vehicle-mounted sonar pulses to help you safely navigate streams or flooded roads.
All-Terrain Progress Control
All-Terrain Progress Control allows you to manage your vehicle's speed and optimise traction across uneven or challenging terrain, without compromising control.
Hill Descent Control
Learn how Hill Descent Control independently manages the vehicle's braking, allowing you to maintain complete control when descending a steep slope.
The Land Rover Experience North Yorkshire is among the first of seven centres in the UK designed to provide comprehensive tuition over a range of challenging surfaces as well as providing a focal point for professional driver training, corporate hospitality, team building events and family days.
The Land Rover Experience centre, now based at the new location of Broughton Hall Estate, near Skipton is set on a 3000 acre estate and employs a team of up to 25 with all the instructors at the centre being trained to the highest standards by the Land Rover Experience. Qualifications include: ADI fleet registered instructors, LANTRA qualified instructors.
A model of countryside diversity, the centre is situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, close to the famous 'Three Peaks' of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
Environmental awareness is assured by following Land Rover's Fragile Earth policy and extends even to the new centre; we have refurbished redundant farm buildings which are heated using biomass supplied by The Broughton Estate. Many of our tracks are on brownfield ground and the stone is quarried right here on the estate.
The courses on offer at Land Rover Experience North Yorkshire use the full Land Rover stable of vehicles of the Defender, Velar, Discovery, Discovery Sport, Freelander, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Sport and the Range Rover and range from a taster session to a half-day Adventure Course up to the more advanced courses such as Health and Safety and Utility driver Training.

WHAT TO BRING
On all our Experiences, drivers must produce BOTH their license and national insurance number before participating. You will also need to bring comfortable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear.
