The SUV is built on the flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA) platform in Solihull, England - A new Intelligent Torque Management system and Thermal Management system take care of both the battery and performance, while offering up to 372-miles of WLTP range.
The Range Rover EV550 does not compromise on power either, capable of sending 325PS to each axle, with a total power pinned at 542bhp – enough to generate a thrust of 850Nm of torque, even more than its 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 counterpart. And, with an 800V battery architecture, the EV550 promises to recharge from 10-80% in just 22-minutes.
