Honda Racing UK has announced it will retain Ryan Vickers for its British Superbike Championship assault next season as it targets the 2027 BSB title together.
Following a season spent competing on the international stage, Norfolk rider Vickers joined Honda Racing UK at the start of the 2026 BSB season for a fresh challenge competing on Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP.
A relative BSB veteran of 168 races despite being only 27-years old, Vickers has quickly settled back into the rhythm of the national championship, culminating in him reeling off a series of four wins in five races across the Thruxton and Cadwell Park weekends.
Bringing his career BSB victory tally to 13 wins since his debut in 2019, with two rounds of the season remaining, Vickers is well in contention to better his career best overall season finish, a fifth place achieved in 2024.
With this in mind, it was therefore an easy decision for Vickers and Honda to put pen to paper on an extended contract for the 2027 BSB season.
Ryan Vickers, said: “I'm incredibly excited to continue with Honda Racing for the 2027 season. We've had a fantastic first year together, achieving some great results and building a really strong relationship along the way.
“From the very beginning, I've felt at home with the team, and I'm proud of what we've already achieved together. I'm looking forward to continuing to build on our momentum and pushing for more success.”
