Honda has revealed a refreshed SH Mode 125 for 2027, bringing a full-colour screen, sharper styling and two fresh colours to its popular city scooter.
The 27YM update keeps the SH Mode 125 firmly aimed at commuters who want easy, stylish urban travel without fuss.
A Sharper New Look
A redesigned front fascia gives the scooter a more dynamic, forward-leaning stance for 2027.
New LED lighting and taut body lines modernise the front end, while a revised muffler cover finishes off the visual refresh.
The changes are amplified by the new paint options, though the familiar proportions and 765mm seat height carry over unchanged.
A New Colour Screen And USB-C
The headline update is a new 4.2-inch TFT display, which replaces the old analogue read-out.
It shows speed, fuel level and a clock in colour, and adds smartphone connectivity through Honda's RoadSync system.
A new USB-C socket in the glovebox also replaces the previous USB Type-A port, making it easier to keep your phone charged on the move.
Two New Colours
Two new colours join the range for 27YM: Pearl Nostalgic Green and Vanilla White.
They sit alongside the returning Candy Luster Red and Matt Galaxy Black Metallic, giving riders four options in total.
Familiar Everyday Practicality
Much of what makes the SH Mode 125 a smart commuter choice carries over.
The Smart Key still operates the ignition and seat from your pocket, adding genuine convenience to a busy day.
Under the seat, an 18.5-litre storage compartment with luggage hooks keeps your kit secure, and a 35-litre top box is available as a genuine accessory.
Proven Engine And Frame
The liquid-cooled eSP+ engine returns, producing 8.7kW and 12Nm of torque from its 125cc single.
Idling Stop shuts the engine down at a standstill to save fuel, then restarts it instantly as you twist the throttle. Honda quotes fuel economy of 47.6km/l in WMTC testing, giving a range of around 265km from the 5.6-litre tank.
A lightweight eSAF steel frame, 16-inch front wheel and combined braking help keep handling nimble and reassuring around town.
A Trusted City Scooter
The SH family dates back to the original SH50 of 1984 and has since passed more than 1.2 million sales across Europe.
The SH Mode 125 has been on sale since summer 2014, finding more than 152,000 European homes over its production run.
