Exterior
The Q4 e-tron Sportback has an assured presence. With a high front, wide stance and sizeable alloy wheels, it certainly has the character of a sturdy SUV.
From the front, a large closed grille sits between four individual LED daytime running lights. Moving around the side of the vehicle, you’ll notice sweeping lines that help to increase range through enhanced aerodynamics, as well as adding a real sense of style. Additionally, you’ll spot small details such as the illuminated Audi logo in the rear lights and Audi Q4 badging which really help to finish of a smart exterior design.
The charge point is tucked neatly away on the rear side of the vehicle, and on opening the lid, you’ll find two charge points - the top, which is suitable for a home charger, and the bottom, which is suitable for rapid charging.
Interior
The interior of the Q4 e-tron Sportback is stylish and spacious in equal measure and features a generous amount of tech as standard. Highlights include a 10.1-inch touchscreen panel that is fully customisable, a multifunctional flat bottom and top steering wheel, climate control and heated front seats; all of which add to the sense of everyday practicality and luxurious comfort.
In the back, there’s ample leg and headroom as well as USB charge ports and air-con controls, which should keep rear passengers happy.
With up to 535-litres of luggage space in the boot and multiple stowage compartments throughout the cabin, you’ll not be short of space to store your belongings either.
Range and Charging
The entry-level 35 model of the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron has an impressive range of 211 miles and accelerates from 0-62mph in 9.0 seconds.
The 40 model variant can accelerate from 0-62mph in 8.5 seconds and has a longer official range of 323 miles.
The top-spec 50 model, has a speedier acceleration, hitting 62mph in just 6.2 seconds, however has a slightly reduced range (compared to the mid-range spec) of 308 miles, due to its additional weight.
All models can be charged from 5-80% in under 40 minutes using a rapid charger, and if you’re not in a hurry, you can charge your Q4 e-tron Sportback overnight using a home Wallbox. This should take around eight and a half hours from empty to full using a 7.4kW charger.
If you’re after an electric all-rounder, which offers the luxury you’d expect from a premium manufacturer like Audi, alongside everyday practicality, the Q4 e-tron Sportback is certainly worth looking into.
