With the emerging focus on EVs and hybrid vehicles, we decided to find out what you think and how much people know about EVs. So, we posted a survey on our Facebook page and collated the information into some nifty little chunks. Thank you to those who took part!
(All of the results below are representative of the sample of people that took part in the survey)
The Results
When asked if they would consider buying an electric vehicle, 79% of people surveyed said they would.
69% of people we surveyed did not know that there were Government grants available, up to £4500
52% of people wer attracted to electric cars because of the environmental benefits, whereas 42% of people felt electric cars were cheaper to run
When asked how many charging points there are in the UK, 24% of people correctly selected that there were more than 15,000 charging points, while 38% selected between 5,000 - 10,000
