Honda has revealed first images the of all-new HR-V, ahead of its official unveiling at the Paris Motor Show next month.

The new HR-V crossover will rival the likes of the Nissan Juke as Honda's latest entry into the fast-growing small SUV segment.

Its unique exterior design echoes that of a coupe, with sharp and dynamic lines.

This coupe-esque design doesn't compromise on space though Honda uses a centrally mounted fuel tank to maximise cabin space as well as its Magic Seats, which come with a wide range of configurations and the ability to fold the rear seats completely flat for added cargo space.

Head of car Leon Brannan said: "The HR-V is a very welcome addition to our current model line up. It is a very popular and growing market segment that appeals to both retail and corporate customers.

"The dealer network are very much looking forward to receiving the car in their showrooms and every UK dealer will be making the trip to Paris to see the car on show."

Further information on the new HR-V will be announced at the Paris Motor Show on Thursday October 2.

The HR-V will go on sale in the UK mid next year.
