The Renault Scenic E-Tech had a lot to shout about with the release of the latest Parkers New Car Awards 2025. As winner of 'Car of the Year' and 'Best Medium Family Car', the Scenic E-Tech triumphed in a level playing field of both ICE and electric vehicles.
Said to offer 'a combination of value, comfort, driving range and practicality', the Scenic E-Tech's interior was praised, including the boot space of 545-litres. This expands to a roomy 1,670-litres with the rear bench seat dropped, which is a great offering for its category.
Rear passengers have plenty of room to kick back and relax. With a fully connected infotainment system and quality interior it's a space you enjoy, even over longer journeys. These will all be a factor in why the Scenic E-Tech also won the 'Best Medium Family Car' award too.
To drive, the Scenic E-Tech is deceptively receptive. Whilst it remains comfortable and simple for those wishing to get from A to B, it keeps more engaged drivers interested. This is thanks to the well set up steering feel and brakes. And, of course, nippy electric performance.
The hefty 87kWh is a great choice for the car. Up to 379 miles (WLTP) is promised, and while all range estimations should be taken with a pinch of salt, over at Parkers they say it easily kept more than 300. Even with different driving factors in play.
The Renault Clio has been praised by Parkers as being 'comfortable, well-built and fun to drive'. A smaller budget and insurance costs are taken into consideration in this category. The Clio beat competitors such as SEAT Ibiza, Suzuki Swift and Skoda Fabia to the 'Best First Car' crown.
With a new design and interior upgrade, the latest Clio makes the great deals available all the sweeter.
