With almost six million vehicles sold since its introduction, the iconic Ibiza has significantly contributed to SEAT s success.

In addition to this, the Arona is also a key driver of success and both models have undergone a fresh new design with new advanced technology.

After an offical launch in April 2021, SEAT is adding more character to its popular urban vehicles with these new models.

The Ibiza has established itself as the most successful SEAT vehicle and the latest model will feature an evolved design, alongside an exceptional technological upgrade.

Joining the SEAT Ibiza is the enhanced SEAT Arona Urban SUV, which delivers a bold and robust exterior aesthetic, as well as new safety technology.

DESIGN

Both the SEAT Arona and Ibiza have been given upgraded visually, so that they equally boast confidence on the road. From smooth lines to premium exterior details, the Arona and Ibiza have been made to proudly stand out.

The new SEAT Arona sports redesigned bumpers, with the most significant changes being the introduction of circular fog lights underneath the main headlamps, plus silver-painted trimmings at the front and rear.

Subtle tweaks have been made to the popular Ibiza. New Ibiza script on the boot lid adds a nice touch to the back, whilst LED headlights come as standard across the range.

The Arona additionally gets these more efficient LED lights as standard too, with both cars now hosting a choice of new alloy-wheel designs.

INTERIOR

Both the SEAT Arona and Ibiza's interior has been upgraded, with both housing new infotainment options - all versions come equipped with an 8.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, whilst the higher-spec models offer a larger 9-inch screen.

A state-of-the-art 10.25-inch digital driver s display is available with both the SEAT Arona and Ibiza too, along with ambient lighting throughout.

The cabin's materials and details are as slick as ever, making the interior contemporary yet comfortable.

PERFORMANCE

The current popular SEAT Arona and Ibiza engines have been carried over to the new models. You'll be able to choose from two 1.0-litre turbocharged engines, with either 95 or 110hp, and a 150hp 1.5-litre unit.

Both Ibiza and Arona will send power to the front wheels, giving you great responsiveness and handling.

Wayne Griffiths, President of SEAT and CUPRA, commented: 'The SEAT Ibiza has been a cornerstone of the brand s success, with close to six million vehicles sold over its five generations, while the SEAT Arona is a clear pillar in the range, being the second most sold SEAT model last year.

'The updated models add to the vehicles incredible attributes to deliver an even more complete offering whilst refreshing the cars design.'

The world has become increasingly digitalised and connected, and the SEAT Ibiza and Arona are ready to be part of the journey, keeping their youthful spirit and adding greater intuitiveness, functionality and perceived quality to the interior space, achieved through improved design language and increased levels of technology.

The updated SEAT Arona and Ibiza are set to go on sale later this year. Expect pricing for the updated SEAT Arona to start from around £19,000, with the Ibiza to start from around £16,000.
