The German manufacturer has combined its impressive experience with electric vehicles with premium design to create an EV that transforms mobility. The new smart #1 embodies perfectly sustainability, practicality and advanced electric engineering.

Choose your Line
The smart #1 model is available in four different lines: Launch Edition, Pro+, Premium as well as BRABUS. Each line has its own characteristics and unique features, to perfectly fit the needs of the owner.
Smart has announced that there are only 100 #1 Launch Edition cars available to order in the UK, making it a highly exclusive line.
Pre-order Now
The pre-ordering of the Launch Edition started in January 2023. You can pre-order your new Pro+, Premium and BRABUS models later this summer. The pre-orders are due to begin earliest in July 2023. The pricing will be confirmed before the pre-order is launched.
100% Electric
Smart is one of the few automotive manufacturers currently producing only fully electric vehicles. The new smart #1 model continues the strong legacy of practical and flexible urban motoring.
Compared to other smart models, the new EV eases the stress on range. Built using an advanced Geely’s SEA platform, it provides up to 273 miles with zero emissions driving (WLTP-combined). This range makes it suitable for long-distance travel as well.
The new EV comes with a 22kW on-board charger. The battery can be charged with the DC Charging from 10-80% in a mere 30 minutes, providing enough time for a cup of tea. With smart, you will also get access to one of Europe’s largest charging networks, ensuring you don’t have to worry about the range.
Progressive Design
This new model features dynamic proportions along with strong edges. The seamless transition to the windscreen and window surfaces enhances the futuristic look.
The stylish and minimalistic design of the smart #1 makes a strong impression on the road. Exquisite 19-inch alloy wheels showcase the impressive German design detailing. The bold bumper and the CyberSparks LED+ Matrix headlights also help make sure you won’t go unnoticed.
With the Launch Edition, a Halo panoramic sunroof lets the air and light in, making every drive more exciting. Also, the stunning Platinum Gold/Digital White paint colour combination is only available with the Launch Edition.
Comfortable Interior
Explore the surprisingly spacious interior of the new smart #1. This compact SUV fits four people comfortably, while providing premium in-cabin experience.
The exclusive Bold White Duo leather seating of the Launch Edition makes you feel special and provides a lounge-like ambience. Set the right mood for each drive with 64 ambient light colours.
View all the important driver information with the 10-inch head-up display for easy access. Entertainment and media are controlled easily with the impressive 12.8-inch central display.
Safety Ensured
The new model has been awarded the highest five-star rating in the Euro NCAP tests. The smart #1 was praised for its good scores in all main safety categories such as Adult Occupant, Child Occupant and Safety Assist.
The model has also been awarded the prestigious What Car? Safety award, marking it as one of the safest cars in the UK.
Steve Huntingford, Editor of What Car?, commented on smart #1:

The driver assistance features have been a high priority with the latest smart model, demonstrating the manufacturer’s commitment to safety. The numerous systems include front and rear parking sensors, automatic Front Collision Mitigation and Lane Keeping Assist.
