What to Expect From the New Mercedes-AMG EQE Models

Mercedes-AMG EQE 43
The EQE 43 is the lower-power option of the two new models, yet still delivers exceptional levels of performance. Two electric motors produce 469bhp and 858Nm of torque, propelling the saloon from 0-62mph in just 4.2 seconds, with a range of 331 miles (WLTP).
Mercedes-AMG EQE 53
This higher power model produces a whopping 617bhp and will accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.3 seconds. The added power does slightly reduce the range of the vehicle, however, it still provides an impressive 322 miles (WLTP).
The Mercedes EQE also supports 170kW rapid charging, which means 155 miles of range can be added in just 15 minutes at specific charge points.
Exterior Design
The EQE has a similar design to the stylish EQS, with a sleek, aerodynamic body. It sets a commanding presence on the roads with its AMG black panel grille with vertical bars and large alloy wheels (available in 19- to 21-inch options).
Interior Design and Technology
The interior of the EQE models is characteristically Mercedes. There's a real premium feel, that is enhanced with sporty elements, such as AMG seats with detailed red stitching and a multi-functional flat bottomed steering wheel.
The exceptional infotainment system onboard the EQE really sets it apart in a class of its own. Three separate screens extend across the dashboard in a curved fashion. The advanced MBUX system can be controlled via touch and voice command and offers the functionality to do just about anything you’d need.
For those who want the sporty sounds to match the appearance of their car, an AMG Sound Experience option allows drivers to play a synthesised noise of track driving, with different modes depending on your mood. Otherwise, you can enjoy near silence as the EQE glides to its next destination.
Plus, innovative over-the-air updates will be incorporated in time which will add improvements to the infotainment system as well as the range of the vehicle.
