These allow comparison between different vehicles as they are based on a standard laboratory test. Real world results will vary depending on factors including (but not limited to) the accessories fitted after registration, weather conditions, driving styles, vehicle load, vehicle and tyre maintenance including tyre type and pressure (and, for battery electric vehicles, temperature, starting charge of the battery and battery condition). Vehicles must have a current MOT, a mileage of under 100,000, be less than 14 years old, and have a minimum valuation of £5,000 (before the £500 is added) for the offer to apply.
