New Mazda CX-80 Deals

Overview of the New Mazda CX-80

The Mazda CX-80 is Mazda's largest and most ambitious SUV to date - a three-row SUV built for families who refuse to compromise on either space or refinement.

Positioned at the premium end of the large SUV segment, the CX-80 arrives in the UK with two powertrains: the e-Skyactiv PHEV - a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle - and the e-Skyactiv D MHEV, a mild hybrid diesel that delivers exceptional long-distance capability.

Both are paired with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard, reflecting the Mazda CX-80's purpose: a capable, composed family SUV that earns its place on the motorway and the school run alike.

It won Large Car of the Year 2025 - and it's easy to see why.

Interior of the Mazda CX-80

Step inside the Mazda CX-80 and you'll find a spacious interior shaped by the Japanese philosophy of 'Ma' - the art of meaningful space. Nothing is crowded. Nothing is wasted.

The seven-seat configuration accommodates the whole family with genuine comfort across all three rows, while a six-seat configuration with optional Captain's Chairs adds a touch of business-class ease to the middle row.

The Mazda Connect infotainment system sits at the heart of the cabin, centred on a 12.3-inch colour touchscreen with crisp graphics, the Multimedia Commander rotary controller, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. A full-colour head-up display projects navigation and speed data directly onto the windscreen.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connect seamlessly, and the Amazon Alexa integration lets you stay connected without lifting a finger.

Homura, Homura Plus, Takumi, and Takumi Plus grades add the Bose premium sound system - 12 speakers with CenterPoint and AudioPilot technology that transforms every journey into something close to a live performance.

The boot space is equally generous. Fold the third row and you gain 687 litres; fold both rear rows and the CX-80 opens up to 1,971 litres of cargo room. A hands-free power liftgate means your hands never need to leave the shopping.

Exterior of the Mazda CX-80

The Mazda CX-80's exterior is built around what Mazda calls 'Graceful Toughness' - a phrase that sounds like marketing shorthand, but makes immediate sense when you see the car.

Mazda's Kodo: Soul of Motion design language gives the CX-80 a muscular yet sculpted silhouette. The long bonnet and upright rear create visual authority without bulk, while the signature LED daytime running lights and adaptive LED headlights (Homura Plus and Takumi Plus) deliver a purposeful face regardless of trim level.

Available in nine colours from Arctic White to the deep Soul Red Crystal and richly warm Artisan Red, the CX-80 carries itself with quiet confidence. Roof rails are standard across the range, and a panoramic sunroof is available on Homura and Takumi, standard on their Plus equivalents.

Alloy wheel size varies by grade: 18-inch Grey on the Exclusive-Line, 20-inch Black on Homura models, and 20-inch Grey Diamond Cut on Takumi grades.

New Mazda CX-80 Engines and Performance

The Mazda CX-80 is available with two powertrains, both engineered around Mazda's commitment to Skyactiv technology - a philosophy that optimises every aspect of the drivetrain for efficiency, refinement, and driver engagement.

The plug-in hybrid SUV variant - badged e-Skyactiv PHEV - pairs a naturally aspirated 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a 129kW electric motor and a 17.8kWh lithium-ion battery. The result is 327ps of total system output, an all-electric range of up to 38 miles (WLTP), and WLTP CO₂ emissions of just 35-38g/km on a weighted combined cycle. The PHEV also benefits from an 8-year, 100,000-mile battery warranty.

The e-Skyactiv D MHEV brings a 3.3-litre in-line six-cylinder diesel - supported by a 48V Mazda M Hybrid Boost system - that produces 550Nm of torque. It's the choice for high-mileage drivers and those who regularly tow: both powertrains are rated to tow up to 2,500kg.

Mazda's Mi-Drive system allows you to select between Normal, Sport, Off-Road, and Towing modes, while i-ACTIV AWD monitors road conditions up to 200 times per second to distribute torque precisely. The PHEV adds an EV mode for zero tailpipe emissions whilst driving on shorter runs.
