We cater to everyone's needs too: from family cars to first-time driver cars, there's a new MINI model to fit into your lifestyle. From the compact and city-slick 3-door hatchback, to the confident and adventure-ready Countryman, you can be sure to find what you're looking for at Vertu MINI.
MINI asks you to make fewer compromises than almost any rival when you go electric. Where most brands make you switch to an unfamiliar model to plug in, MINI keeps the Cooper a Cooper and the Countryman a Countryman, then offers each in petrol or fully electric form. You pick the powertrain that suits your week, not a different car.
That choice sits across three families at Vertu. The MINI Cooper carries the iconic hatch silhouette in 3-door, 5-door and Convertible bodies; the MINI Aceman is a compact electric-only crossover; and the MINI Countryman is the practical SUV of the range, the only one offered with ALL4 all-wheel drive. The John Cooper Works (JCW) badge runs across them as the performance tier, from a 231hp Cooper to a 300hp Countryman.
One piece of technology ties the whole range together. Every current MINI, petrol or electric, is built around a 240mm round OLED display, the world-first circular screen that MINI uses as instrument cluster, media hub and control centre in one. It's the clearest signal that this is a thoroughly modern car wearing a shape you've recognised for decades. Browse the full range of new MINI models below, grouped by family to help you find the right one faster.
MINI's range splits into three families, each built around the brand's go-kart feeling but pitched at a different kind of driver, from the compact Cooper hatch to the family-sized Countryman SUV. Here's what each is like from behind the wheel.
The MINI Cooper is the car most people picture when they hear the badge, and the petrol range gives you three steps of pace. Cooper One opens the range with a 122hp turbocharged three-cylinder engine, Cooper C lifts that to 156hp, and the 2.0-litre Cooper S reaches 204hp with a 0-62mph time of 6.6 seconds in the 3-door. For a driver who wants the classic MINI character without stretching to the hot version, the C sits in the sweet spot: brisk enough to enjoy, economical enough to run every day.
That same body comes in two practical variations. The 5-door adds rear-passenger access and a larger boot over the 3-door, while the Convertible trades a little luggage room for open air and an Easy Load function that lifts the roof base to widen the boot opening. Each keeps the low, planted feel MINI is known for.
Choosing electric doesn't change what the Cooper is. The Cooper Electric E returns 180 to 186 miles of range (WLTP) from its 40.7kWh battery, while the Cooper Electric SE stretches that to 239 to 247 miles on a larger 54.2kWh pack, both charging from 10 to 80% in under 30 minutes. For city and suburban drivers whose days rarely run past 100 miles, the SE covers a working week of commuting on a single charge and delivers zero tailpipe emissions whilst driving, with the go-kart handling intact. At the top of the family, the JCW Electric produces 258hp for the quickest electric Cooper of all.
The MINI Aceman is the one family in the range you can only have as an electric vehicle, a compact crossover that gives you more space and a higher seating position than the hatch without stepping up to full SUV size. The Aceman E offers 185 to 192 miles of range (WLTP), while the Aceman SE extends that to 238 to 252 miles from its 54.2kWh battery. For a buyer who has outgrown a supermini but finds the Countryman larger than they need, the Aceman is the MINI that fills the gap, seating five with a boot that expands from 300 to 1,005 litres. The JCW Aceman tops it at 258hp, pairing everyday electric running with genuine pace.
The MINI Countryman is the grown-up of the range, the largest MINI and the only one available with ALL4 all-wheel drive. In petrol form it runs from the 170hp Countryman C, through the 218hp S ALL4, to the 300hp JCW ALL4 that covers 0-62mph in 5.4 seconds. ALL4 arrives with the S and JCW grades, distributing power across both axles for surer footing on a wet slip road or a rutted track, so the extra traction earns its place beyond the badge.
The electric Countryman follows the same logic. The Countryman Electric E delivers 282 to 307 miles of range (WLTP), the longest in the MINI range, while the dual-motor Countryman Electric SE ALL4 pairs 313hp with all-wheel-drive traction and still returns 264 to 290 miles. A sliding rear bench that moves fore and aft by 13cm lets you trade legroom for boot space as a given day demands, which is exactly the flexibility a growing family tends to need.
The table below sets out the powertrain options across all three families. WLTP figures are provided for comparison and real-world results will vary.

WLTP figures are recorded under controlled laboratory conditions and offer a guide for comparing models, though they may not reflect real-world driving. Actual range and economy vary with weather, driving style, road conditions and vehicle load.
Whichever MINI you choose, the cabin is built around the 240mm round OLED display, the world-first circular screen that anchors everything you see and touch. It gathers your speed, navigation, media and vehicle settings into one high-resolution surface you control by touch or voice, so there's no separate instrument binnacle competing for your attention. Fewer places to look means less time with your eyes off the road.
Around that screen sits MINI's latest operating system, shared across the range. It brings the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant, summoned with "Hey MINI", along with up to eight MINI Experience Modes that shift the display colour, ambient lighting and sound to match your mood or the drive. An optional MINI Connected Package adds AirConsole gaming and music streaming for the times you're parked and charging, and the cabin's knitted recycled-fabric dashboard gives every MINI a distinctive, sustainable finish.
Equipment builds through four trims, from Classic through Monochrome and Exclusive to Sport, with optional Level 1, 2 and 3 packs layered on top. Monochrome adds heated front seats, a Head-Up Display and wireless charging, while the Level packs bring a panoramic sunroof, Harman Kardon sound and electrically adjustable front seats with a massage function. Driver assistance scales the same way: every MINI includes the Driving Assistant with a Rear View Camera and Parking Assistant, and Driving Assistant Professional adds Automatic Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Change and Control Assistant, and Parking Assistant Plus with a 3D Parking View. On a stop-start motorway crawl or a tight multi-storey, that higher tier does the fiddly work for you. Confirm exact specification for your chosen model with your local dealership.

Yes. MINI is part of the BMW Group, which owns the brand and builds its cars. The petrol engines across the current MINI range are BMW-developed TwinPower Turbo units, from the turbocharged three-cylinder in the Cooper to the four-cylinder in the Cooper S and Countryman. That shared engineering gives MINI the backing of a major manufacturer behind its own distinct character.
It depends on what you want the engine to do, so there's no single best for everyone. The Countryman JCW ALL4 is the most powerful petrol MINI at 300hp, while the Cooper S at 204hp is the range's all-rounder, quick and economical in equal measure. Among the electric options, the Countryman Electric SE ALL4 leads with 313hp. Our colleagues can help you match the right one to your driving.
MINI Cooper buyers tend to value style and driving enjoyment as much as practicality. The compact footprint and famous go-kart handling suit city and suburban drivers who want a car with genuine personality, backed by a huge choice of colours, roofs and trims for making it their own. It appeals across ages and lifestyles, from first premium-car buyers to long-time MINI enthusiasts.
MINI offers one of the widest colour palettes in its class, and the electric Cooper and Aceman ranges now extend to up to nine colours when you configure one. Contrast roofs, mirror caps and alloy finishes let you personalise further, while special editions such as the Paul Smith Edition and the Cooper Oxford Edition add their own distinctive schemes. Your local dealership can show you the current options.
Every new MINI comes with a three-year manufacturer warranty with no mileage limit, which is more generous than many rivals that cap cover by miles. Electric models add an eight-year, 100,000-mile high-voltage battery warranty, covering degradation below 70% of capacity. MINI also provides a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty, a three-year paintwork warranty, MOT Protect and MINI Roadside Assistance. Extended cover is available through MINI Insured Warranty.
Many are. The MINI Aceman is electric-only, while the Cooper and Countryman each offer fully electric versions alongside their petrol models. Electric range runs from 180 miles on the Cooper Electric E up to 307 miles on the Countryman Electric E, all with zero tailpipe emissions whilst driving. That means you can go electric without leaving the MINI model you already like.
Yes. MINI's core models hold a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, awarded to the Aceman, Cooper, Cooper Electric and Countryman in 2024 and 2025. Every model includes the Driving Assistant safety suite as standard, with features such as a Rear View Camera and Parking Assistant, and higher grades add Driving Assistant Professional. Each new MINI is prepared by Vertu's manufacturer-trained colleagues before it reaches you.

Yes. Vertu offers PCP, HP and PCH finance on new MINI models, and our colleagues can talk you through which suits your budget and circumstances. The two share the same iconic hatch design and go-kart handling; the difference is under the skin. The MINI Cooper uses a BMW TwinPower Turbo petrol engine, from 122hp to 204hp, while the MINI Cooper Electric swaps that for an electric motor of 184hp or 218hp, giving 180 to 247 miles of range and zero tailpipe emissions whilst driving. You choose the powertrain, and the character stays the same.
