MINI is taking the new year by storm with its third- generation hatchback line-up undergoing innovative design and technology updates.
A refreshing new look, intelligent technology and added personalisation are just a few of the attributes that the upgraded models have to offer.
Exquisite Exterior
The exterior of the 3dr, 5dr, Electric and convertible have been revamped to boast a more modern look, with even more emphasis on the car’s central design features. The front-end design commands attention with a larger grille that is framed by a new black, hexagonal surround.
The wheel arches have been remodelled for a dynamic side profile and the side indicators now use LEDs as standard.
You can now add a touch of personalisation as there are three new exterior paint finishes to choose from including Rooftop Grey, Island Blue and the MINI convertible exclusive option, Zesty Yellow. Furthermore, the 5dr, 3dr and Electric offer an innovative and unique roof-paint finish and the new Multitone Roof option features a colour gradient.
Oliver Heilmer, Head of MINI Design stated, "The new MINI design is more modern – it’s fresher, clearer," and "All innovations follow a common mission: Purify MINI! Less complexity, more individuality".
Intelligent Interior
The interior of the new model line-up can only be described as a combination of sophistication, elegance and modernity. Featuring an 8.8-inch colour touchscreen display and Piano Black high-gloss surface as standard, the interior has been designed to make every day driving luxurious and effortless.
The 5dr, 3dr, Electric and convertible have all been fitted with a freshy-designed sports leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons as standard.
Create your atmosphere with a choice of display colours and mood lighting in the new “Lounge” and “Sport” modes. For a more relaxed approach, “Lounge” mode provides a colour content ranging between turquoise and petrol blue for a more calming ambience. However, if “Sport” mode is active, the colour scheme ranges between red and anthracite to provide a more thrilling driving aura.
Driving Experience
A new version of Adaptive Suspension has been redefined to give the MINI a go-kart feeling as it finds the perfect balance between comfort and sportiness. The MINI Electric is equipped with an electric parking brake as standard and is also now available in other model variants.
Drivers can now put their mind at ease with the optional Driver Assistance Pack, which ensures maximum comfort and safety with every journey. This involves different safety features such as lane departure warnings, which prevent the driver from deviating from their chosen course by alerting them with steering wheel vibrations. The pack also incorporates Active Cruise Control, which offers a Stop and Go function in combination with an automatic transmission.

The new MINI app has been designed to offer an advanced user experience in order to keep you connected to your MINI at all times. Whether it’s staying in tune with your MINI’s fuel levels and charge status or sending navigation destinations directly from your phone to your car, the MINI app allows you to stay connected.
