Honda Jazz Wins 'Small Car of the Year' at What Car? Car of the Year Awards 2022
The Honda Jazz Hybrid has driven away victorious from the What Car? Car of the Year Awards 2022, taking the top spot in the heavily contested ‘Small Car of the Year’ category.
The Honda Jazz fended off competition from some strong contenders in its class, proving that a small car can still be big on features. Just some of the onboard highlights include anti-fatigue seats, a huge carrying capacity of up to 1,205 litres and an infotainment system with seamless smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
To be crowned a winner at the What Car? Car of the Year Awards, cars must be tested back-to-back against their rivals, on UK roads and a dedicated test track.
Steve Huntingford, What Car? editor commented: “The Honda Jazz is a small car that feels like a big one, not only because of the sheer amount of space you get, but also because of the comfort and refinement that it offers. The interior is incredibly thoughtfully designed, too, with lots of clever touches to improve practicality. Plus, the Jazz is an easier car to see out of than many rivals, and its hybrid technology allows it to sip fuel, particularly around town.”
The Honda Jazz not only offers comfort, convenience and connectivity but also delivers efficiency through its sophisticated and unique powertrain technology. The e:HEV powertrain delivers a full hybrid experience with a responsive performance. Comprising two electric motors, a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine and an innovative fixed-gear transmission, the Jazz Hybrid plays a key role in Honda’s commitment to achieving 100% electrification of its mainstream model line-up in 2022.
