Introducing The All-New BMW M3 Competition Saloon And M4 Competition Coupe
Blending searing performance with everyday usability, BMW have revealed the all-new M3 Competition Saloon and M4 Competition Coupe.
Discover what’s special about these latest generation M models:
Engine and Performance
When sat behind the wheel of both the BMW M3 Competition Saloon and BMW M4 Competition Coupe, expect sheer, raw power.
Under the bonnet of the new M3 Competition Saloon and new M4 Competition Coupe sits a 510hp high-revving straight-six engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, which works together with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, as it sends its mighty strength to the rear wheels.
Both models will also be available with M xDrive later this year, which delivers even greater directional stability and supreme traction without compromising on agility.
For those concerned with numbers, the all-new M3 Competition Saloon and M4 Competition Coupe can sprint from 0 to 62mph in just 3.9 seconds.
Their top speed is electronically limited to 155mph, rising to 180mph if the optional M Pro Package is specified.
Thirty-five years on from the M3’s debut, both newly launched high-performance M models fuse track-focused performance with everyday usability.
They are designed to stand out, whether on road, racetrack or your driveway.
Despite both achieving a common goal of delivering pure driving pleasure, the new M3 Competition Saloon and M4 Competition Coupe occupy very different territory:
The BMW M3 Competition is a luxury sports saloon ready to comfortable accommodate five occupants.
Meanwhile, the athletically streamlined BMW M4 Competition is a four-seater coupe.
Here at Vertu Motors, we love that these all-new M models put you in the centre of everything they do – whether on a racetrack or your daily commute, they’re there to support your journey.
From exquisite yet athletic interior elements, to technology built around the driver, both the M3 Competition Saloon and M4 Competition Coupe provide the ultimate driving experience.
For example, the control panel on the centre console of these new models houses the M Mode button. This can be used to adjust the responses and characteristics of the driver assistance systems and the displays in the instrument cluster and Head-Up Display. Easily choose between ROAD, SPORT and TRACK settings to tailor your drive to your journey.
Both models come as standard with Parking Assistant, Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Collision Warning (with brake intervention), Lane Departure Assist and an Attentiveness Assistant. These intelligent and intuitive systems all to help mitigate accidents and make driving even more enjoyable.
With a new larger 12.3-inch Central Information Display and an incredible M Sport steering wheel, there are so many outstanding details to discover.
Together with BMW ConnectedDrive services, you can also now speak to your new BMW M model using the Intelligent Personal Assistant. Just say ‘Hey BMW’ and it will begin to learn your driving behaviour, even offering suggestions to help enhance your experience.
The all-new M3 Competition Saloon and M4 Competition Coupe take individualisation to new heights.
With class-leading levels of standard equipment plus exceptional options available, especially for racetrack outings, ensure both models continue the success of their formidable predecessors.
Optional equipment is offered in six main packages – Comfort, Technology Plus, Visibility, M Carbon, M Pro and Ultimate.
Beyond these packages, there will be a select number of optional items including M Brakes in red, blue or black, M Carbon exterior, M Carbon seats and Park Assistant Plus with Drive Recorder.
